Welcome to the Pride of the Yarra
South Yarra Soccer Club (SYSC) is one of the oldest football clubs in Victoria,
founded in 1928 in Melbourne’s iconic Fawkner Park. In 2018, we are excited
to celebrate our 90th Year as a football Club. We are a not-for-profit organisation that
relies on sponsorship, volunteers, community associations and our numerous
members to operate. Our club has:
• 10 senior squads
• 23 junior squads
• Lifetime members and families
Competitions
• Senior mens’ teams play in the State League 3 South East
• Senior womens’ teams play in the State League 1 North East and SL4
• The Sunday teams take part in various State and Metro football club leagues
• Junior teams from under 7’s to under 18’s play in various football club leagues
